Jersey Girl

I wore this to a friend's 21st last night and it's possibly the comfiest outfit ever. I wish I could wear jersey all the time. It makes it all the better that I got the skirt on sale for a tenner in Topshop.

Also, you can expect a less fashion related post this week, don't want this thing getting too contrived.

White Collar

I realise that this blog, like my last, is slowly spiraling further into that mushy abyss of fashion blogging by the day. Don't get me wrong, I love fashion blogging, especially outfit posts, but I also like ranting. Having found a place to vent in my college newspaper however I don't find much of a need to rant as much on my blog anymore and so it's become somewhat lacking in personality and flare so to speak. I've managed to keep semi-up-to-speed with my Saturday Playlists that break up the fashion orientated posts somewhat but I feel I need another structured, set day dedicated to something that isn't fashion, not so much for anyone who might read this as much as for myself and to hold myself back from becoming too self absorbed.
I haven't decided on a day yet, I'm thinking Sunday though, and the topic will most likely be something science/engineering/technology based. So watch this space for that to come!
As for now, another outfit post.

If I did nothing wrong, I'd never do anything.

I don't really wear dresses when I go on nights out.  I much prefer something quirky if the occasion suits, and lots of oversized rings are essential.

Hobo Chic

I rarely wear jeans, or knit for that matter, lately though I've been rediscovering the comfort and effortlessness of a good pair of denims. On these long, cold college days, comfort seems to be more and more at the front of my mind when dressing in the mornings. I picked up this hat in the Topshop sale the other day for €4 and wanted to wear it so basically the outfit was based around a hat.

I'm also still getting used to my camera and got Dan to take these photos while attempting to adjust settings myself. That's how the two below happened, I kinda like them though even though they're out of focus. My remote release shutter arrived today though so hopefully photo quality will improve post haste.

Penny Loafers, no socks.

I've had requests to go back to the old style of "outfit posts" that I used to do so what better time than New Year's Eve to change my ways and start something new.....well, old really but you get the idea.

disco pants- American Apparel
penny loafers, necklace, ring- Topshop
bag- Lulu Guinness
shirt- Primark/Penneys

P.S. I'm still a bit clueless with my new camera so any advice on how to take good outfit photos with a Canon EOS1100D would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
